Experience
I am a former teacher, where I have worked with students from first through sixth grades. Currently I am working on my PhD in Reading Education. I am also a graduate assistant and work with undergraduate students on utilizing efficient study habits and skills. I decided to study reading education because of the poor reading abilities of students I have observed through my teaching experiences. I want to learn more about how to effectively teach students so that they can become successful readers.
